Jamie Lidell – Yougotmeup (Warp Records) Directed by Konx-om-Pax

Yougotmeup is a rotoscoped animation by Konx-om-Pax. Over a 6 month period
all 2770 frames were traced by hand over original footage of Jamie singing.
The video’s style was inspired by early hand made 80′s pop promo’s and re-runs
of Rubarb and Custard cartoons…

The video was recently featured in specialten magazine alongside work by
Jonathon Glazier and an interview with Joze Gonzalez. “Yougotmeup” was
screeed at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood as part of Resfest, alongside
work by swedish filmaker Jonas Odell
